Step 1: Visit people's channels who you think would be interested in your content.
Step 2: Comment their channel and videos nicely and supportively.
Step 3: Add that user as a friend and maybe even subscribe to make sure you get your username into their inbox.
Now the person who you commented on will probably do the following:
- Comment on your channel thanking you for the nice comments
- Subscribe to you because they like your vids/because you're nice
- Ignore you on all accounts because you're a total loser! (just kidding, that should never happen, and if it does, block them immediately!)
These steps won't necessarily apply to any user. Bigger YouTubers don't usually have time to respond to every single comment or for that matter even reading it in the first place!
